What are the steps to obtain a mortgage?
Obtaining a mortgage is a structured process aimed at ensuring financing that aligns with your situation and goals. Here are the main steps of the journey, from the first conversation to handing over the keys.
1. Discussion of your goals
First step: understand your project, your situation, and your priorities. This discussion helps steer the financing strategy.
2. Pre-analysis and borrowing capacity
Analysis of your financial profile, income, debts, and down payment to establish a realistic borrowing capacity.
3. Pre-approval
Official validation of your borrowing capacity with a lender. This step strengthens your credibility and allows you to shop with confidence.
4. Property search
With your pre-approval in hand, you can visit properties knowing exactly what budget to respect.
5. Submitting the file to the lender
Once the offer to purchase is accepted, the complete file is presented to the lender: documents, financial proofs, transaction details.
6. Final approval
The lender confirms the financing, conditions, and terms. This is the step that formalizes the mortgage.
7. Signing at the notary
The notary finalizes the transaction, registers the mortgage, and proceeds with the transfer of ownership.
8. Ongoing monitoring
After purchase, regular follow-up allows adjusting the strategy, preparing for renewal, and optimizing your structure over time.
An accompaniment at every step
I am present from the first call until the handing over of the keys… and after. My role is to guide you, structure your file, and offer you a simple, clear approach tailored to your situation.
